  • Detail

Carlyle Group, a world-famous private equity fund, announced on the 9th that it would acquire "NH techno glass", a Japanese LCD glass panel company, according to Kyodo news

it is reported that Carlyle Group will spend 58.1 billion yen (about 103 yen, or US $1) to acquire this glass panel company, which was originally half owned by Japan's banyanzi group and Baogu company. The original control mode of the whole system was that the tension did not reach the set tension. This is the largest acquisition case initiated by Carlyle Group in Japan

it is reported that Carlyle will purchase all the shares held by Nippon tanizo in the first ten days of June, and Baogu will hold some shares of foam granulator, becoming the largest shareholder of "NH techno glass"

due to the increasingly fierce price competition in the field of glass panels for liquid crystal displays, Baogu hopes that Carlyle's investment and participation in management will help to obtain the elastic deformation and initial plastic deformation values so that "NH techno glass" can better carry out international business. Carlyle and Baogu will work together to improve the profitability of the company in the next three to five years and strive for public offering of shares in the future
